How PRUS Security protects lives and business through armored vehicle rental in Ukraine

When war broke out in Ukraine last year, the country was plunged into chaos. Millions of people found themselves under crossfire, seeking safety amid the disorder. However, people are still determined to live their lives, and businesses are trying to work for the good of the country. Moreover, Ukraine continues to host international delegations and media representatives who are covering the unfolding war events.

In the face of the horrors of war and the overwhelming sense of vulnerability among local residents and visiting foreigners, PRUS Security took on the challenge, determined to protect people even in the most difficult times. Today, the company strives to protect people's lives and ensure the safe operation of enterprises and organizations. PRUS Security provides exceptional services, offering armored vehicle rental in Ukraine, personal protection, property security, and much more.

No one can describe the service better than real clients who have seen the company's work firsthand - and PRUS Security has accumulated a significant share of successful client cases.

Kyiv Bank "Clearing House" is one such client. When hostilities first began, banks and other organizations were very vulnerable. PRUS Security is one of the few companies that did not stop providing security services with the start of the war. In fact, PRUS expanded the range of core security services to meet the unique needs of clients during wartime.

says Lyudmila Melenchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Clearing House Bank:

"PRUS Security was very meticulous and attentive to our security requirements. They installed fortified observation posts and organized a rapid response team. Even during intense shelling, the PRUS Security team performed their duties, using armored vehicles to safely transport the bank's operational personnel. PRUS Security has proven itself to be a very reliable and professional company."

Some companies are forced to work so close to the front line that security and protection become paramount for the lives of workers and management. This was the case with "Indelika", a modern company producing turkey meat products. "Indelika" owns several properties north of Kyiv - a territory that was heavily affected by military clashes between Russian and Ukrainian forces in the early days of the war.

PRUS Security approached Indelika's case comprehensively. Services included ensuring biosecurity for the entire production cycle of the company, as well as cargo transportation security.

"This was one of the most difficult cases we have faced," says Ihor Prus, co-founder and CEO of PRUS Security. Once in March 2022, we came under artillery fire that occurred right near the warehouse of the Indelika plant in Brovary district. Shells were falling around us, it was a terrible sight. A neighboring cold storage warehouse was hit directly and caught fire, which ultimately destroyed it along with the food supplies stored there. We urgently decided to evacuate all food supplies from this location, and we had to do it under heavy fire. The logistics of such operations are extremely complex."

Valeriy Ponko, CEO of Indelika, notes: "PRUS Security demonstrated a high level of professionalism, training, and ability to work in difficult conditions and even at risk to life."

Sometimes PRUS Security also deals with complex comprehensive tasks of transporting private individuals, including VIPs, from, to, and within Ukraine. Estonian company Viking Trading OÜ collaborated with PRUS Security to ensure security at several levels: physical security of employees, property security, and cargo security. However, the most difficult mission was escorting and protecting the company's top management.

"The personal protection officers (PPO) of PRUS Security provided invaluable assistance in ensuring the protection and escort of Viking Trading OÜ management and VIPs from the border of Ukraine to Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine during wartime," comments Yevgeniy Morgunov, CEO of Viking Trading OÜ.

PRUS Security is also responsible for evacuating private individuals and international media workers who are covering the situation in Ukraine. The company used its fleet of B6 and VR7 armored vehicles to guarantee safe transportation for each client. PRUS Security logistics specialists developed the safest evacuation route, taking into account factors such as locations of active hostilities, road conditions, and possible checkpoints. Ihor Prus recalls that the entire operation took several days: "It was a complex, exhausting, but definitely useful task. People were very grateful, and we were happy that we carried out the operation with high precision."

When asked what allows the PRUS Security team to successfully carry out such complex security and protection missions, Mr. Prus answers concisely:

"Every member of our team has high professionalism, excellent work ethic, and strives for constant improvement. Moreover, our shared experience working in the Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Forces helps us develop the most effective strategies to protect our clients and their assets."
